Strides for Pride
We can all move for 40 minutes a day to support the 40% of youth facing homelessness in the U.S. who identify as LGBTQ+, including those finding safety and support at Covenant House. Whatever that moving is for you, running, lifting, jumping, walking - you'll be making a difference for young people experiencing homelessness. Join Strides for Pride this June for our week-long challenge to support LGBTQ+ youth. Individuals and teams are welcome!

What is Strides for Pride?
Strides for Pride is our week-long challenge to log 40 minutes of movement a day to support LGBTQ+ youth in our care. Across the U.S., 40% of all young people facing homelessness identify as LGBTQ+. At Covenant House, we welcome all homeless youth with absolute respect and unconditional love. Throughout Pride Month in June, we’re raising awareness and funds for LGBTQ+ youth we serve.

How it Works
Participants will log 40 minutes of activity per day — running, walking, biking, whatever gets you moving — and work to raise $120 or more in support of LGBTQ+ youth overcoming homelessness at Covenant House.

Register
You can sign up as an individual or create a team with your friends, family, or company.

Get Moving
Commit to logging 40 minutes of activity per day between June 23-29, 2025. You can track your activity using your fitness app or entering your minutes manually.

Fundraise
Set a fundraising goal of $120 or more and share it with your network.
Fundraising Incentives
All participants who raise $120 will earn a Strides for Pride enamel pin. Raise $240, and you'll earn a pride Strides for Pride bandana. No matter how much money you raise, you'll be making an impact on the lives of the young people at Covenant House.
